Management Groups for animals need to be enabled before you can set these up. Go to Business Parameters > Other > there is a tick box to Enable Management Groups for Animals.
Once enabled this will introduce the Feeding Parameters section to your menu. This then allows you to create Groups.
To create a Group, select Groups from the Feeding Parameters menu and 
The Group requires a code and a description.
